In their 2023 Restaurant Brands for Good report, Restaurant Brands International (RBI), the parent company of Burger King, Tim Hortons, and Popeyes, has published time-bound plans for meeting their 100% cage-free commitments in the United States and Canada. This progress comes after tireless efforts from dedicated supporters and advocates across the animal protection movement.

In 2016, RBI committed to eliminating cruel cages for hens in their North American supply chain by 2025—later deferred to 2030. Along with their cage-free roadmap, RBI recently announced that the company now aims for a 100% cage-free transition by 2028, two years ahead of their previous target.

Chickens need you to continue advocating for them! Canadian restaurant chain Cora committed to ditching cruel cages in their egg supply chain by 2025. Eight years have passed, and the company has gone silent on how they plan to fulfill their promise to animals. Hold Cora accountable by politely commenting on their latest Facebook post urging them to report progress and publish a time-bound plan for fulfilling their cage-free policy.
